Nurses Leading Change for Well-being – FAQ

Added to Collection

Who should participate?

This course is designed for individual nurses in all roles/positions who want to work on both personal well-being and improvement projects for their team, unit or department. Course participation may include multiple individuals from one organization who focus on different unit/team projects to address their work environment as a broader hospital initiative.

What’s in it for me? Why should I participate?

Leading by example is key: The art of leading yourself before you lead others is vital. This course focuses on a stewardship plan for yourself as well as a project plan for your unit/team. As moral resilience and nursing ethics expert Cynda Rushton states, “You matter to the profession. Healthy workplaces require belonging … belonging to yourself, your patients, the nursing profession and your role or position.”

Will the course be recorded and available for on-demand viewing later?

Yes. This course will be recorded and the link will be shared with participants only. However, the live, interactive nature of the event is key to the learning experience, so it is important for participants to be present and engaged during the virtual sessions.
