About Andrea

Dr. Efre is a national speaker, consultant and founder of Healthcare Education Consultants (HEC. LLC). She holds a visiting professor position at two universities in the graduate program for family nurse practitioners and maintains current clinical practice in an inner city internal medicine clinic, with a special interest cardiology. Dr. Efre has over 25 years of experience in critical care, emergency medicine, cardiology and primary care as an RN and NP. She promotes certification and advancement of the nursing profession through the AACN, AANP, and Sigma Theta Tau. She additionally holds a leadership role as the co-lead to the Chapter Advisory Team (CATs) with the AACN Chapters Department.
