About Amy

I started my career as a nurse in 2001 at Christiana Care in a Cardiac Step-down Unit. In 2006 I graduated with my Masters in Nursing Education and Leadership and moved to the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU). In 2011 I accepted the Nurse Educator role within the CICU, Cardiovascular ICU, and Cardiovascular Step-down units where I found my passion for teaching and fostering a culture of best practice. In 2018, I was privileged to accept a position as Manager for our Nurse Residency programs, where I act as the coordinator for both the Critical Care and Transitional Care Residencies. I am proud to work for Christiana Care with an amazing group of educator peers to serve as leaders in the transformation our healthcare system.
