Cheryl Herrmann, APN, CCRN, CCNS-CSC-CMC is a Cardiac/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. Cheryl has been a nurse for 36 years with 15 years as a bedside nurse in critical care and 21 years at CNS. Her current CNS responsibilities are three critical care units (cardiac, surgical, medical/neuro). In addition, she is volunteers as a Prehospital RN for a local ambulance and has been a team leader of over 40 medical-dental missions to Mexico, Haiti, and Indonesia. She has a passion for teaching cardiac and critical care nursing and has presented several times at regional AACN conferences and nationally at AACN NTI. Cheryl has been honored with the AACN Circle of Excellence Excellent Clinical Nurse Specialist Award in 2005. Cheryl believes learning should be fun and presents material in an interesting and stimulating way.
