Dr. Cathy Haut is a pediatric nurse practitioner who is certified in both primary and acute care, currently employed by Nemours AI Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington DE as the Coordinator of Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice. She practices in critical care for Mednax Pediatrix Medical Group as a PICU NP at the Walter and Herman Samuelson Childrens Hospital in Baltimore and also at Beacon Pediatrics in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She obtained her MS and DNP at the University of Maryland School of Nursing where she also has taught in the PNP program. She has spoken many times at national conferences, including NTI, has written many publications and is co-editor of the book: Lippincott Certification Review: Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has served as president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2016.
