About Kaitlyn

I am currently a nurse practitioner for Thoracic Surgery at an NCI-designated cancer hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I have experience in surgical oncology, medical and surgical ICU. My research interests include: mobile health technology for patient symptom management and tracking, pre-operative pain relief measures to reduce post-operative narcotic burden, and ICU delirium. I feel passionately about mentoring nurses during all stages of their career and empowering others to be the change they wish to see in healthcare. I am a member of the SePA chapter of AACN. I have participated in the Philadelphia cohort of the CSI Academy. I love creating positive energy and change within the nursing community- I invite you all to join me in this mission!
