I have been a nurse since 1973. I have been in critical care in one way or another since 1976. I have been a staff nurse, clinical educator and critical care CNS. I have taught continuing education courses, classes for critical care and progressive care nurses for 40+ years. About 8 years ago I went back to bedside nursing in a med-surg ICU and Progressive Care Unit. I love both teaching and patient care. For the last year I have added the role of CNS/educator for the critical care units. I am also active in our Mountain to Sound Chapter and am currently our treasurer.
This session helps experienced critical-care nurses expand their knowledge and skills in caring for patients with possible aberrancy or QTc prolongation.
