Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Over the course of his career, Bryan has practiced in virtually every emergency and critical care setting, including the ED, and medical, surgical, cardiac, and neuro ICUs. He is the author of multiple journal articles and textbook chapters and is co-editor of Concepts in Surgical Critical Care, a new textbook written specifically for NP/PAs in critical care by NP/PAs in critical care. Bryan is the cohost of the Critical Care Scenarios Podcast (www.icuscenarios.com) and has spoken at conferences across the country and internationally, including multiple presentations at NTI. He is currently a nurse practitioner with the Anesthesia Critical Care Service at the University of Kentucky and splits his clinical time between the Surgical Critical Care Service and the Neurocritical Care Service. In addition to his clinical practice, Bryan is involved with the Critical Care Nurse Practitioner fellowship program at UK and is an adjunct faculty member in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Georgetown University.
