Cancellation Policy
NTI 2026 San Diego:
Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received by April 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PDT will qualify for a full refund. Cancellations received April 14 through May 16, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PDT will incur a $50 cancellation fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations received May 17, 2026 or later do not qualify for a refund.
NTI 2026 Virtual:
Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received by June 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PDT will qualify for a full refund. Cancellations received June 14 or later do not qualify for a refund.
Please allow two to four weeks for processing.
Written cancellation requests should be e-mailed to nti@aacn.org.
Daily Registration
NTI Online Sessions are not included with daily or preconference only registrations.
Exhibitor Mailings
NTI exhibitors sometimes mail promotional information to attendees. You may choose to not receive these mailings during the NTI registration process by unchecking the box or by calling AACN Customer Care at 800-899-2226.
AACN does not sell attendee information. Exhibitor materials that you choose to receive are distributed through a third-party company that does not sell your information; it is kept confidential. Please know that AACN respects your privacy.
Audio, Video and Photography Disclosure
By registering for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses' ("AACN") 2026 National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition ("NTI") AACN reserves the right to use any audio/video/photograph ("Recording") taken at NTI without the expressed written permission of those included within the Recording. Furthermore, the registered attendees shall grant irrevocable consent to AACN and its affiliates the right to utilize attendees name, image, likeness, appearance, movements, and statements in any written, live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation for commercial or promotional purposes, without further review or authorization from, or compensation to, attendee or anyone acting on his/her behalf. Attendees acknowledge that AACN or its affiliates shall own the copyright in these audio, video, and photographs.
While under no obligation to do so, AACN will consider any reasonable request not to use or to stop using a particular Recording. Such requests should be made in writing to event organizers at nti@aacn.org
Should you not wish to grant AACN these rights, please contact the AACN event organizers at nti@aacn.org at least two weeks prior to the start of the event.
If a person is registering on behalf of a delegate/s it is the responsibility of that person to notify the delegate of the terms and conditions of registering, for which they will be agreeing to on the behalf of the delegate. Responsibility also includes providing full details of the delegate's/s' registration details as confirmed.
ADA
Reasonable requests received 45 days or more, prior to the start of the conference, will be reviewed. For ADA accommodations, email: nti@aacn.org.
Code of Conduct
AACN is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all attendees at NTI Live or NTI Virtual. Therefore, all attendees are expected to be considerate, respectful, and collaborative to other attendees, facilitators, exhibitors and staff.
AACN will not tolerate harassment or offensive behavior of any kind, including, but not limited to, harassment based on ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, gender, or sexual orientation. Harassment includes, without limitation, offensive gestures, verbal and written comments, deliberate intimidation, and sustained disruption in sessions or other events.
Attendees acknowledge and agree that AACN reserves the right to remove attendees from NTI Live or NTI Virtual if AACN, in its absolute and sole discretion, determines that attendee(s) participation or behavior create a disruption or hinder NTI or the enjoyment of NTI content by other attendees. AACN reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to cancel attendee access and retain any payments made without refund.
Attendees violating these rules will be expelled from the event without warning or refund. This Code of Conduct applies to the NTI Live and NTI Virtual and all related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than AACN but held in conjunction with NTI.
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you witness or are part of unacceptable behavior, report it immediately to nti@aacn.org. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or if you see something suspicious or would like to report a security issue or emergency, please contact Event venue security or local law enforcement.
Additional Rules
Recordings - No part of NTI may be recorded, reproduced, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including but not limited to video or audio recording, photograph, photocopy or any other information storage or retrieval system known now or in the future, without the explicit written permission of AACN. AACN reserves the right to record sessions in digital format or otherwise and use these and their content in future events, publications or broadcasts.
Event Access - By registering for NTI attendees agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share their access, unless such transfer is granted by AACN.
NTI Event Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) collects, uses, and shares information from attendees of the National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI) and related events. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently and securely.
By registering for or attending NTI, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

When you register for our event, we collect information that you provide directly to us, including but not limited to:

We may also collect information automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you interact with our website.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To process your registration and manage your attendance at the event.
- To send you updates about the event, including schedule changes, logistics, and important announcements.
- To personalize your experience, such as by printing a name badge.
- For internal business purposes, such as analyzing event demographics and improving future events.
3. Sharing Your Information with Exhibitors and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. However, to facilitate professional networking and allow you to receive relevant promotional materials, we share your information with our exhibitors and sponsors. This sharing is conducted through our third-party service provider, Maritz, which processes your data on our behalf.
The information shared with exhibitors typically includes your name, job title, company, and email address. You have the right to prevent this sharing of your information. During the registration process, you can choose to opt-out by unchecking the designated box. If you have already registered and wish to opt-out, you can do so by contacting us at nti@aacn.org. You may also opt-out of the sharing of your data by visiting the registration counter at NTI and request your information not be shared.
4. International Data Transfers and Compliance
Our attendees come from many countries, and we are committed to protecting their data in compliance with relevant laws.
- For attendees from the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA): The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the processing of personal data of individuals who are in the EU. We use a U.S.-based service provider, Maritz, to process event data. To ensure your data is protected during this transfer, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. These are legal mechanisms approved under the GDPR to guarantee that personal data transferred outside the EU receives a level of protection consistent with EU law. You have specific rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and the right to object to its processing.
- For attendees from California: The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you specific rights over your personal information. These include the right to know what information is being collected, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to opt-out of the "sale or sharing" of your information. We provide the opt-out mechanism described in Section 3 to address this right.
- For attendees from other countries, many jurisdictions around the world have their own data protection laws, some of which are similar to the GDPR. We strive to follow best practices for data protection regardless of your location. We will respect your right to privacy as outlined in this policy, and by registering for the event, you agree to the processing of your data in accordance with its terms.

Your rights may include:

GDPR
If any of the Services, in whole or in part, are or may be subject to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("GDPR"), AACN and attendee agree to be governed by the terms of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, as set forth and amended from time-to-time by the United States Department of Commerce.
Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the California courts.
Changes to the Event
The NTI schedule is subject to change without notice. AACN does not guarantee the attendance of any exhibitor or speaker, or that any event will take place, particularly in the event of any natural or public disaster, insufficient participation or sponsorship, government regulation or shutdown, necessary venue construction, labor controversy, civil disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, armed conflict or similar reasons beyond its reasonable control. AACN will not be liable and no reimbursement will be made in the event of a cancellation or modification of times, dates, sessions or events.
Amendment
AACN reserves the right to modify, add, or remove any of these disclosures at any time, solely with prospective effect, and to change, delete, discontinue, or impose conditions on the attendance to NTI by posting such changes on our website. AACN may, but does not have the obligation, to provide notice of changes to the disclosures, via email, or through other reasonable means. Other reasonable means is defined, but not limited to updating the disclosures on the AACN website. It is the attendee's sole responsibility to review these disclosures with or without notice prior to attending the event.
Health and Safety
AACN reserves the right to implement health and safety measures as recommended by the CDC guidelines and based on the current local conditions. Details about any health and safety measures will be provided if and when they become necessary.
