The Beacon Award for Excellence recognizes units that exemplify nursing care and a healthy work environment at the highest level. AACN recently enhanced the Beacon Award program by continuing to recognize top-performing units and sharing benchmarking data while also providing a more streamlined application process that is flexible for units on their Beacon journey.
