AACN President Amanda Bettencourt will share insights and best practices she has learned during her presidential year, building on the theme “Starting Now.” Bettencourt is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health at University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. As an educator, researcher and pediatric clinical nurse specialist, she focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for acutely and critically ill children.

Cynthia Hylton Rushton is our 2022 Distinguished Research Lecturer. Rushton is an international leader in clinical ethics and ethical nursing practice. As an applied researcher, she has focused on diverse dimensions of bioethics, specifically palliative and end-of-life care and the moral suffering of clinicians, moral resilience and designing a culture of ethical practice and well-being.

AACN President-elect Theresa Davis will inspire us while she shares AACN’s new theme for the year ahead. Davis is assistant vice president of nursing at the High Reliability Center, Falls Church, Virginia. Her clinical specialties are trauma/neuro critical care and teleICU, and she has led research in the areas of healing touch, caring science and technology acceptance.

Join us for a fun evening of networking while you explore the museum and special exhibits. NTI registration includes one admission ticket. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
