This review describes differences between palliative care for adult patients and palliative care for pediatric patients, both generally and in the intensive care unit; highlights ethical considerations for pediatric intensive care unit patients by using illustrative cases; and examines the impact of these ethical considerations on decision-making for children and their families.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes.
