Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes
The objectives of this integrative review were to examine the scientific evidence regarding critical and emergency care nurses’ attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors regarding family presence during resuscitation (FPDR) and to identify factors that influence its practice. Identifying modifiable factors contributes to the development of interventions that consider nurses’ perspectives and concerns, ultimately enhancing FPDR implementation in critical and emergency care settings.Learners must attend/view/read the entire activity, read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes, and complete the associated evaluation to be awarded the contact hours or CERP. No partial credit will be awarded.
