Provided by the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN) and designed for the non-radiology nurse, this video offers an overview of cardiac procedures performed in imaging. It reviews right and left heart catheterizations, diagnostic and interventional procedures, and nursing considerations before, during and after cardiac catheterization. It also introduces pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures, including what occurs during these procedures and relevant pre- and post-procedure considerations.
