Provided by the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN) and designed for the non-radiology nurse, this video offers an overview of common cardiac exams and procedures performed in imaging. It reviews stress tests, multigated acquisition (MUGA) scans, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), echocardiography, tilt-table testing, cardiac CT and MRI, and pericardiocentesis. It also outlines patient preparation, appropriate clothing and situations that require notifying the physician before an exam or procedure.
