Activity Summary

The nursing profession has historically exemplified caring and compassion, yet bullying exists in all areas of nursing practice. Unhealthy work environments perpetuate bullying behaviors and threatens patient safety. The AACN Healthy Work Environment Standards are emphasized to create a culture that promotes positive relationships among nurses. This session provides a foundational exploration of bullying and interventions to eliminate it in the workplace.
