Activity Summary

The essential responsibilities, activities and skills required for the new and experienced CNS provide a variety of opportunities, and sometimes challenges. This intermediate session examines successful strategies for transitioning into the role, ensuring a thorough orientation, determining specific needs of the assigned population, nurses and the hospital and strategies to guarantee ongoing growth. Addressing and overcoming challenges is discussed.
