Activity Summary

The multigenerational workforce is rich with life experiences and unique strengths. There are varying perspectives among the generations related to values, professional goals, work habits and expectations. Through panel discussion, strategies related to coaching, motivating and communication which can be used by nurses during peer-to-peer interactions or in leadership roles are presented. Attendees are provided with approaches to highlight the strengths of the multigenerational workforce.

  • Discuss strategies that amplify the strengths of the members of the multigenerational workforce.
  • Examine approaches to enhancing collaboration among the members of the multigenerational workforce.
