Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes
National organizations state that current best evidence should be embraced and moved into practice, as they provide foundational knowledge and thereby improve patient outcomes. Nurses need to reflect, question practice traditions and challenge sacred cows to ensure practice is rooted in current best evidence to improve outcomes. This session identifies selected practice traditions, reviews current evidence, including technology advancements to move practice forward based on science, not tradition.Learners must attend/view/read the entire activity and complete the associated evaluation to be awarded the contact hours or CERP. No partial credit will be awarded.
