Critical care nurses see patients with fever on a daily basis, but the culture regarding fever evaluation and management is changing. This session explores causes of fever in the ICU and analyzes the biologic mechanisms which result in fever. Nurses learn current, cutting edge assessment strategies and how and when to intervene.Learners must attend/view/read the entire activity and complete the associated evaluation to be awarded the contact hours or CERP. No partial credit will be awarded.
