Trauma is the leading cause of death in children from 12 months to 21 years of age. This presentation covers the most common causes of pediatric trauma related to the developmental age of the child. A collaborative approach in meeting mutually derived patient outcomes are emphasized. The concepts presented in this session are intermediate and involve integration of material through case presentation.
