The hybrid nursing leadership role is a nurse who practices in both a formal nurse leadership role and at the bedside regularly. Discover how the implementation of this innovative role provides a platform for higher nurse autonomy and satisfaction, retains experienced nurses at the bedside and positively impacts patient outcomes. The facilitators, two of the unit’s hybrid nurse leaders, discuss implementation, victories, challenges and key elements of the role in this presentation.
