Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Have you ever wanted to understand how to impact change on your unit? AACN Clinical Scene Investigator (CSI) Academy faculty provide an overview of CSI and share some of the academy tools and concepts to empower participants to lead a change initiative in their unit. Examples of CSI projects are shared including improving patient outcomes, turnover and moral.

Objectives

  • Provide an overview of the AACN Clinical Scene Investigator Academy.
  • Explain and share tools, methods and activities that support a successful foundation for change.
  • Discuss key concepts of a change project.
