The importance of addressing the health of the nurse work environment cannot be overstated. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated systemic issues that have existed in the nurse work environment for decades. The AACN 5th National Survey contains compelling data about the health of the work environment amid a pandemic. This session focuses on pre- and intra- pandemic comparative results and the evidence supporting implementation of the 6 essential HWE Standards.Learners must attend/view/read the entire activity and complete the associated evaluation to be awarded the contact hours or CERP. No partial credit will be awarded.
