Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Join two AACN past presidents in this interactive session. Participants describe their own leadership strengths, gain knowledge of consensus building, describe the activities associated with global thinking and visioning, discuss effective messaging and gain insights into their own leadership path. In addition, participants gain a solid understanding of the leadership competencies necessary to be successful at the bedside as well as in the boardroom.

  • Discuss important strategies for optimizing your contribution to patient care and the healthcare environment.
  • Identify the leadership competencies required to transition from the bedside to the boardroom.
