Appropriate staffing is an essential element of a healthy work environment. This continues to be a challenge across the country, and the pandemic has only made it worse. It is important for nurse leaders and frontline staff to advocate for appropriate staffing for a healthy work environment. This session offers tangible resources for the participants to take back to their facilities to implement.

  • Summarize AACN's Guiding Principles for Staffing.
  • Identify how appropriate staffing can support nurse well-being.
