Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

This session identifies risk factors associated with common atrial tachyarrhythmias. Discussion includes foundational and advanced pathophysiology contributing to the development of these arrhythmias. Content includes pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatments. Multiple case studies are used to help participants apply their knowledge to immediate and long-term interventions for management and prevention of arrhythmias.

Objectives

  • Identify multiple clinical risk factors for atrial arrhythmias.
  • Explain the pathophysiology of triggers specific to atrial tachyarrhythmias.
  • Assess immediate and long-term interventions to prevent specific arrhythmias.
