In the setting of nursing shortages and burnout, it is more important than ever to improve nurses’ documentation efficiency and eliminate non-value-added work. This session introduces national efforts focused on documentation burden. Nurses also learn about a hospital’s Mission Possible project, a partnership of informatics and bedside nurses working toward reduced documentation and increased job satisfaction.
