Join this foundational session to review key financial concepts, human resource management principles and the impact of strategic management within your unit. This is an opportunity for frontline nurses and nursing leaders to learn about the impact of the science of nursing leadership and promote effective leadership practices.

Objectives

Identify strategies for human resource management including staffing needs, selection and training.
Summarize foundational concepts for financial management, including budgets and creating a business case.
Describe components of strategic management through facilitating change and supporting a culture of innovation.
