Nursing burnout is nothing new, but impacts us all at a higher level in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Nurses are often plagued with moral distress, compassion fatigue and general burnout. Dueling Burnout describes an initiative implemented in a cardiothoracic intensive care unit to reduce the level of burnout nurses endure by encouraging dual roles with collaborating departments.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
