Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Leadership pressures prior to the pandemic were strenuous, coming out of the pandemic the pressures on the nurse leader have grown tremendously. This session explores the post-pandemic workforce challenges, impact on leadership and key interventions to develop and sustain resiliency.

Objectives

  • Define leadership challenges which place leaders at risk for burnout syndrome (BOS).
  • Illustrate the impact of the pandemic on leadership and development of BOS.
  • Describe interventions to enhance resiliency in the face of challenging organizational environments post pandemic.
