Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

The factors which drive us to leadership and the values that create strong, impactful visions for our teams can be a mystery. This session walks the learner through values-based leadership and what characteristics others can draw on to lead a team with this methodology. The facilitator provides real-life scenarios to allow for enhanced learning and practical tips and tricks for everyday leadership.

Objectives

Identify key leader influences which support successful and impactful leaders.
Determine methods and strategies to reinforce these practices in everyday life.
Define techniques to mentor other leaders based on a value-based leadership style.

Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
