Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes
Through knowledge and role modeling of the HWE standards, APRNs can promote interdisciplinary team resilience and support healthy work environments. This session focuses on the role of APRNs in promoting a healthy work environment (HWE). In this foundational session, the HWE Standards and factors associated with an unhealthy work environment are reviewed. Strategies for APRNs promoting and implementing components of the Healthy Work Environment Standards, including a case study approach, are presented. This session also reviews HWE Standards as a strategy for building team resilience and reducing interdisciplinary burnout.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
