Activity Summary

Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

In this session, the APRN (from novice through advanced) identifies ways to track work completed on a day-to-day basis and how that data, when tracked, can provide a wealth of information. Any APRN seeking ways to validate work completed or inquiring on ways to increase staff and address barriers to practice benefit from this session.

Objectives

  • Analyze ways the APRN has an impact on quality measures.
  • Describe ways Non-billable APRN providers exemplify work completed.
  • Identify ways to address APRN to patient ratios, staffing models, and hours covered.
