Sometimes clearly evident and sometimes very insidious, rhabdomyolysis is a fairly uncommon pathophysiologic process. However, if not treated rapidly and appropriately it has significant untoward consequences for patients. This session provides the participant with background knowledge of the etiology and epidemiology of rhabdomyolysis, describes the pathophysiologic processes involved and provides insight into the steps required to optimize care for patients.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
