Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

This session for nurses at all levels, formal and informal leaders, is an in depth exploration of the foundational concepts of the AACN governance leadership competencies. Utilizing a shared learning model, participants evaluate where they are and apply key concepts to develop and strengthen their own leadership journey. The competencies and resources for achievement can be used for leadership with AACN/AACN Certification Corporation or for personal/professional growth.

  • Differentiate and define the six AACN leadership competencies.
  • Discuss and identify examples of the AACN leadership competencies.
  • Determine how to apply the AACN leadership competencies into your own leadership path.
