Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

There are over 200 local chapters of AACN making unique contributions to the communities in which they are embedded. Chapter leaders have a responsibility to ensure they meet members needs which may include but are not limited to educational offerings and community service activities . Listening to members provides chapter leaders with a road map for planning. This session provides practical tips throughout the assessment and planning for leaders.

Objectives

  • Identify resources to assess the needs of the chapter members.
  • Explain how AACN national can facilitate the data collection required to complete a needs assessment.
  • Describe how the data drive the needs of the chapter and/or the work environment.
