Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

There are over 200 local chapters of AACN making unique contributions to the communities in which they are embedded. Chapter leaders have a responsibility to ensure they meet members needs which may include but are not limited to educational offerings and community service activities . Listening to members provides chapter leaders with a road map for planning. This session provides practical tips throughout the assessment and planning for leaders.

Objectives

Identify resources to assess the needs of the chapter members.
Explain how AACN national can facilitate the data collection required to complete a needs assessment.
Describe how the data drive the needs of the chapter and/or the work environment.
