Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

This session offers attendees an opportunity to hear from AACN journal Editors, learn about AACN’s peer-reviewed journals and submitting a manuscript for publication, and ask questions about acceptance criteria, readership, peer review, turnaround time, and other aspects of submission, publication, or review. The session introduces Editors with biographical information before offering slides and an overview of each journal, then Q&A.

Objectives

  • Distinguish among intended audiences for each of AACN’s peer-reviewed journals.
  • Identify the types of manuscripts appropriate for each of AACN’s peer-reviewed journals.
  • Identify resources to facilitate successful publication or review of an article in an AACN journal.
