Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Using radiographic findings to correlate with other assessments can ensure accurate clinical judgments. This session fosters recognition of advanced radiographic signs of critical cardiopulmonary disorders. Participants view single and serial chest radiographs and CT images from case studies. Session participants are challenged to interpret chest radiographs and CT images by answering a multiple-choice question on one slide, followed by a correct answer slide with explanations.

Objectives

  • Identify patterns of pathophysiologic changes in serial chest radiographs and CT images for complex chest conditions and disorders.
  • Interpret radiologic signs for multi-pathophysiologic chest conditions and disorders.
  • Discuss integration of radiologic findings with other assessments and possible interventions.
