Tall R waves, deep QRS complexes, deeply inverted t waves, delta waves, S1, Q3, T3…it is essential you be able to recognize them, and know their significance, as well as what further workup may be needed. This session teaches you how to recognize subtle and high-risk signs on a 12 lead EKG to prevent devastating outcomes. Wellens syndrome, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, Brugada syndrome, myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries, pulmonary hypertension and Takotsubo cardiomyopathy are just a few of the EKGs discussed.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
