Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

The APRN workforce continues to grow, with centralized, administrative centers for advanced practice sustaining workforce growth. APRN organizational design, transformational leadership and community engagement are success factors for high-performing offices of advanced practice. Attendees learn evidence-based components of high-performing centers for advanced practice and apply them in a case study to create an office of advanced practice in an academic medical center.

  • Identify the components and impact of APRN transformational leadership, self-governance and community engagement.
  • Apply evidence-based concepts in a case study to design and build an office of advanced practice.
