This advanced session provides APRNs with the tools necessary to form a multidisciplinary team, identify key stakeholders and department leads and initiate institution-specific programs to develop a business plan for the start-up of a post ICU recovery clinic. Learners of all levels benefit from presentation of evidence-based pharmacologic and nursing interventions to prevent or reduce post ICU syndrome (PICS).
