Participants apply advanced knowledge of pathophysiology and management strategies, including drug selection, administration and management guidelines, for these complex patients. Pharmacology content: 25%.

Objectives

  • Examine the pathophysiology of intracranial pressure elevation, including common causes and symptoms.
  • Distinguish nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic interventions to manage intracranial pressure elevation.
