Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Organizations can address stress and burnout among clinicians by providing a continuum of care including therapeutic intervention. This session focuses on the research and implementation of a psychoeducational group program called RISE for nurses and nurse leaders in a healthcare system. The facilitators illustrate a novel perspective on how to study and integrate well-being programming in a hospital setting with a high-level description of implementation methods and fidelity measurement.

  • Describe the development, research, and impact of the RISE program.
  • Identify methods for implementation of an empirically supported intervention.
  • Discuss future research and programmatic directions for nurse well-being.
