Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Rising interest in foraging, or the search for food in the wild, has increased the incidence of toxic mushroom and plant ingestions across the United States. This intermediate session presents the assessment and management of this acutely ill adult patient. Identifying the ingested agent, clinical assessment and diagnostic testing are imperative to develop an individualized treatment plan. Case studies highlight the challenges in managing this population.
