The history of nursing confirms that nurses who challenge the status quo are often responsible for changing healthcare for the better This session provides a compelling case for the importance of political citizenship and using our collective voices to change legislation and healthcare policy. Specific strategies attendees can use to increase their political acumen are offered. This session is designed for the intermediate learner.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
