Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes

Staff meetings really can be fun and engaging. Valuable meeting time should be spent building positive culture, brainstorming fresh ideas, recognizing accomplishments and sharing information. This session provides a high-level overview of current evidence suggesting the importance of teamwork and culture on patient outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas and learn from others about their meetings. The learner leaves this session with innovative ideas to implement at their next meeting.

  • Identify staff meeting innovation ideas by brainstorming engaging agenda topics.
  • Describe the importance of building teamwork by reviewing current evidence.
  • Summarize how other leaders are facilitating staff meetings.
