Required reading for all learners: Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes
This session highlights the unique attributes, results and practice implications of selected studies in practice, focusing on current care issues and research. This session also presents strategies to enhance the use of evidence in practice, including becoming a smart consumer of evidence and how to integrate multiple studies to address a clinical issue. The importance of these studies in advancing acute and critical care nursing practice and areas requiring further research is discussed.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
