Activity Summary

Acute hemorrhagic stroke patients are often admitted to the ICU due to an increased risk of further bleeding, deterioration and mortality. Pharmacologic reversal agents for acute hemorrhages are often used as initial interventions. This presentation provides a high-level overview of acute hemorrhagic stroke. Critical care nurses must have an intermediate and proficient level of understanding of the use of pharmacologic reversal agents in the management of acute hemorrhagic strokes.
