Critical care nurses play a substantial role in skillful application of the complex treatment of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). This foundational to intermediate level session defines the range of CRRT modalities and highlights strategies for dialysis access and hemodialysis system management and troubleshooting including anticoagulation, development of the critical care nurse to function at a highly competent level and measures to ensure high quality and optimal outcomes are covered.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes.
